Mauds Ice Cream has been crowned the 'Champion of Champions' at the annual Ice Cream Alliance Natonal Ice Cream Awards 2004, an award that has never been won by a manufacturer from Ireland. This is the most coveted award of all and the winner is deemed to be the best ice cream in the country.

Mauds beat more than 480, often much larger manufacturers to win this prestigious award. Mauds has also received more than 50 awards over the years from the Ice Cream Alliance, a trade association for retailers and manufacturers of ice cream, but this is their first as 'Champion of Champions'.
